Everyone’s asking “what am I going to watch now that the Olympics are over?”. If this is you, please find a Bravo fan near you. Next, grab them by the shoulders, SHAKE THEM and demand they solve your existential crisis with a prescription for Season 15 of the Real Housewives of New York (the convincing won’t take very long). It starts on October 1, which leaves you ample time to watch seasons 1 - 10 (we don’t talk about seasons 11 - 13; season 14 you’ll need to watch as a primer) and calm your Paris 2024 withdrawal symptoms.

Stonehenge might be 5,000 years old, but we’re still getting to know it. The prehistoric landmark was for the past century thought to have been built with rocks from just England and Wales, but a new discovery shows the site’s Altar Stone, which is at the center of the creation, was actually brought over from Scotland. That means Stonehenge is made up of rocks from all Great British nations. One of the researchers behind this discovery, Professor Nick Pearce, told the BBC: “Neolithic people must have been pretty well connected, far more connected than people give them credit for. They must have been very well organised.”

These comics from McSweeney’s Shebani Rao perfectly convey what our plants are dying to tell us as they wilt in the summer heat (your snake plant might look alive and well, but she’s tired of holding it together).

A note to end on: With Minnesota firmly in the headlines thanks to Governor Tim Walz, here’s a well-rounded soundtrack featuring musical legends from the state (and those paying tribute to it), from Prince to Janet Jackson.
